I also have Revit Architecture and used it to communicate with the builder to convey ideas on what I was wanting my floorplan to look like. By way of introduction, I am a space planner with CB Richard Ellis and have an extensive background with architecture and urban planning. But unfortunately, my company only uses 2D plans and programming plans. So I do not have the opportunity to use Revit at work which is why I do it at home. It is nice to see someone out there with the same energy and love for BIM and Revit. Residential floor plans excite me. Surprised I overlooked that one, but was thinking more from a real estate agent and homeowner standpoint, and Sketchup might be a bit too advanced for someone not familiar with computer drafting and modeling.
